Since the birth of my son 10 years ago, I had been experiencing rectal prolapse. It started as just a few weeks of bother in the winter months, then would go away until the next year. Year after year it was progressively causing more trouble and lasting longer.
On Nov 1st 2019, after allowing myself to experience a huge negative emotional melt down, I prolapsed so incredibly severe that I was bedridden for about 4 months. Upon visiting my regular doctor, she informed me (at age 37) that I had the digestive system of a 90 year old person; a condition that only affects 1% (I now really do not believe that her data was accurate). She gave me a box of suppositories, a tube of Lydiocaine and sent me on my way.
Needless to say, I was REALLY hurting and pissed off that there was nothing “conventional” medicine could do for me. I was determined not to accept this state of pain and misery as my new normal. I was an active young mom that was benched from living my life overnight! I began to see my acupuncturist religiously every week, and after a period of time backed off to every other week for the last 3.5 years. In addition to receiving acupuncture, I began reading acupuncture theory and text books–digging for any & all information that could help me on my journey to healing myself.
Through diet changes to use food as medicine, make changes in my mental attitude & perspective and continued acupuncture, I was doing better. Not completely healed, but I could more or less function and do the things I wanted in life.
Fast forward to July 2022. My winter prolapse did not vanish, come spring this year as it has usually done in years past. In fact it seemed to become worse again. Acupuncture was less effective and by the end of a regular day, I was needing to get off my feet and lay down to lessen the pain I was in. Again, I was becoming very sad and frustrated in my seemingly helpless condition.
Showing and competing with cow horses is my favorite pastime. Early July 2022 I purchased a new 3 year old gelding. Two weeks after getting him home, his skin began to present an allergic/hive reaction to god only knows what. I ran into a friend of mine, the lovely Danelle Markham, who has owned an Equiscope for several years now. She quickly told me about this devices capabilities. Upon returning home and seeing that the condition of my horse was only getting worse, as the steroid treatments and antihistamine were not working, I quickly called her and scheduled a protocol for my horse. Upon learning how to operate this device and more about the endless scope of its healing possibilities, I returned from the training wanting to do nothing else but share my new Equiscope knowledge, skills, and healing potential with as many humans and animals as I can. teIt’s all I want to do. And let me also mention that since purchasing my own device in September 2022, I have been prolapse-free, just weeks after self-administered protocols.
Once I had logged about 10 total protocols I was no longer in pain and no longer prolapsing. I feel compelled to share my story as I believe it can help so many women and men who are experiencing health conditions that are hard for western medicine to deal with.
